Jill & Chuck were gone all day to Tailgate and watch the game. They came home happy, Purdue won. Maddie spent the day with Grammy, we had a great time!! Chuck got a fire going in the fireplace and we settled in for a little Saturday evening relaxtion.

We were blessed with a 65 degree day in November, so took advantage and today is house painting day. We have borrowed a paint sprayer so this will be really neat !!!

Grammy got to go to the Nicu with Daddy and see Madelyn when she was about 5 1/2 hours old. Jill wont get to see her until tonight, when they can get her blood pressure down some. It is so hard for her to be in her room away from Madelyn. Every time Chuck goes he makes a short video for Jill to see. They are so sweet together and will be such awesome parents!! We are all so happy that they are both safe and sound. Randi was able to be here for the delivery and help out with her experience as a labor nurse. What a special memory for them to have !! Madelyn weighed 5 lbs 5 oz and is 19 inches. Pretty good for about 3 1/2 weeks early....

What a difference a couple days can make!! She has been taking a bottle, but having trouble spitting up, so she has to keep the feeding tube for awhile. She has also tried nursing a little, that was so special for Jill when she finally got to try the first time!!

Madelyn yanked her oxygen out last night, so the doctors decided to give it a try. She is breathing on her own now totally !!! She still has the feeding tube, but maybe she will be eating better soon and get to have that out!! They tiny blankets are donated and will go home with her. Isn't she just too sweet and precious !!
